How to use the EDATE function in Excel?
The EDATE function in Excel is an invaluable tool when working with dates. This function allows you to add or subtract a specified number of months from a date, making it particularly useful in various business scenarios, such as project planning, financial forecasting, and scheduling.
To use the EDATE function, you will need two arguments: the start date and the number of months to add (or subtract). Conversely, if you wish to determine the date six months prior to that same start date, simply replace the positive value with a negative one: `=EDATE(""2023-01-15"", -6)`.
