How to Create a Countdown Screen in OBS Studio
Have you got a countdown screen with an automatic scene switcher at the start of your live stream?
Hello and welcome to this, Part 9 of all things OBS Studio. In this bite size video, I'll show you how to use the Adaptive Timer Plugin that we installed in Part 5 of my video series, to create a countdown timer that switches automatically to your first scene. This really is a handy plug in, which will enable you to sit back for a bit at the beginning of your live stream and let OBS Studio do the work. Having a timer screen will allow you to gain access to your Facebook Live Stream and also enable you to get settled before you actually start to stream.
As well as using the plugin, i'll also show you how to import and place graphics into OBS Studio.
Although this video was done on a Windows 10 computer, the OBS Studio User Interface is the same on a Mac or Linux computer too.
