What are carpets made of?
My rugs are crocheted from POLYESTER cord of varying diameters 🧶💪 using a Teflon crochet hook (to ensure the thread slides easily).
I haven't covered this topic in a while - apparently it's time to update ❤️
‼️The same design can be 140cm or 240cm long, depending on the cord thickness.
✅ My standard is a 5mm cord with a core.
❣️If I need to make the rug slightly smaller, I'll order a 4mm cord with a core.
❣️If I need to significantly reduce the rug's diameter while maintaining the design, I'll order a 3mm cord without a core.
✅Most manufacturers make the entire length of the rug WITHOUT tearing, and this should be clarified when ordering (why do we need extra connections?) ❤️I can recommend trusted manufacturers (clickable links 💪✅)
