this is quite an old video I made I think I used Samplitude V10. There is a function called "Edit Root VIP". It is particularly useful if you have done all your stereo mix downs and have compiled them in another Samplitude project for mastering. If at some point you decide you need to make a couple of tweaks on one of the tracks. All you do is right click on that stereo way file and select "Edit Root VIP". doing this will open the original multitrack version of the song and you can do your changes. Then when you close that project the changes you've made will be amended to the stereo mix down. And you can carry on working on your CD compilation/mastering Project.
it's a very convenient feature. Although in this video I am bouncing individual buses to create stereo stems and then using the "Edit Root VIP" function to make changes to individual stems.
