** Video Description **
In this YouTube video tutorial, Surfing Scratcher shows you the basics of sprites in Scratch 3. We talk about what a sprite is and what it can do. Then we check out the Scratch sprite library and look at how to search for sprites in there. We upload the pile of poop emoji and talk about the difference between bitmaps and vectors. We explore the costume editor and some of its drawing tools while tracing the emoji to make it a vector. At the end of the video we touch of sprite packs and I ask what is your preferred way of creating sprites in Scratch.

Graphics were used from the website http://vecteezy.com
