LORE of Warhammer 40k | Timeline of the universe (Part 1) (English subtitles)
I'd like to say right away that the video can be watched in parts. It is divided into three large subsections for your convenience.
This time, the Dirty Wall channel and I will dive into the dark and long history of the Warhammer 40k universe. We'll start with the evolution of the Necrons, from their origins as Necrontyr to the Great Sleep that lasted 60 million years.
Then we'll learn how the Ancients, the powerful psykers, shaped the galaxy by creating the Webway and raising races such as the Aeldari, Krorks, and Rashan. After that, we'll see the Necrontyrs' first encounter with the C'tans, including Mepheth'ran the Deceiver, and learn how these star gods gained physical bodies, enjoying their new form before betraying their allies.
And then the Necrons, defeated after the War in Heaven, will fall into the Great Sleep, leaving their guards to guard their crypts while the Silent King Szarekh destroys the engramatic protocols and escapes in a spaceship.
But that's not all! We will also dive into the early history of mankind: from the Star Exodus (M1-M15) with its huge colonization ships to the Age of Technology (M15-M25), when the Men of Gold and the Men of Stone built an interstellar civilization and the first Navigators paved the way through Warp. We learn how the Age of Strife and the Old Night destroyed humanity after the rebellion of the Iron Men, and how the Human Empire eventually came across the sleeping Necrons, who, upon awakening, faced new psyker races, including the Aeldari and their psychic powers.
Finally, we take a look at the feudal Knight Worlds, where Imperial Knights rule over peasants and Throne Mechanicum connect the nobility to their war machines.
