In today's episode, we discuss "Imposter syndrome", which can be defined as a psychological pattern where individuals doubt their accomplishments, skills, or talents and have a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud." Despite external evidence of their competence, people experiencing imposter syndrome often feel that their success is undeserved and attribute it to luck, timing, or other external factors rather than their own abilities. This can lead to chronic feelings of insecurity, self-doubt, and anxiety, even in high-achieving individuals.
This video discusses strategies for overcoming and avoiding imposter syndrome for musicians.
