Creating a New ESurvey CADD File for Road Design
ESurvey CADD Section module can be used for creating Cross Section, L Section, and quantity calculation of Road, Canal, Nala, Pipe, Rail Road Etc.,. In this series of videos, you will learn how to create an ESurvey CADD file for designing Roads. Road Design module of ESurvey CADD includes designing Horizontal Curve, Vertical Curve, Profile Correction, Super Elevation, Road Widening, Plan Profile creation etc...
To start a project for road design in ESurvey CADD, follow these steps
• Open esurvey cadd
• Go to File, select a new file
• Set sections option
• Give a name and path for the new file and save
• Go to settings, project settings and in Basic Tab, Select Project type as Road design, save and close
• In the ESurvey CADD Toolbar, you can see that the road design menu gets enabled.
You can note that the Road Design module has 5 Tabs. Existing Surface, Horizontal Alignment, Vertical Alignment, Cross Section, Plan. In the next video, you will learn how to import point data in the Existing Surface tab, Thank you.
