A classic side dish or Banchan for Korean barbecue because it is refreshing and spicy. Oi Muchim or Spicy Korean Cucumber Salad is simple and easy to make the hardest part is getting the Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) and Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste) which can be found at your local Asian store. This recipe is quick and easy plus there are only a few ingredients. Takes about 30 minutes to make depending on how long your cucumbers take to drain.

Ingredients:
1 Cucumber
1 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean red chili flake)
1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
2 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tbsp Sesame Seed Oil
1 tbsp Green Onion
1 Garlic clove
1 tbsp Vinegar (Optional)
