The presentation, in the form of a video recording, aims to encourage primary and secondary school teachers of English to gradually incorporate phonetic transcription of English into their lessons. Within my presentation, I will suggest some exercises, which have generated a positive response and attracted my students’ interestin this subject over the years. These exercises come from engaging English pronunciation textbooks and are additionally accompanied by my own teaching materials.
