After some successful and some unsuccessful campaigns, William Wallace was finally caught. The British king, Edward Longshanks, would not just accept a simple hanging or chopping off his head. No, the message had to be clear and had to reach all corners of Scotland! So he decided he would quarter Willam Wallace, and send his body parts to different parts of the country. Such an Edward Longshanks thing to do!
In this scene, our boy Robert the Bruce and his company learn about this and they also get to see a quarter of the legendary William Wallace! It's better than nothing I guess...
You can watch the whole movie on Netflix. We strongly suggest you do so for this is a great movie with wonderful historical aspects and accuracy!
