Manuela and Fernand finally arrived home. At front door, they are welcomed by Luisa and Lorenzo, who help them with the baggages. Anais/Isabel is nervous and asks Emilio for help and some sort of encouragement, which Emilio grants to Isabel. Cella informs Anais and Emilio, that Salinas' arrived. Before entering home, Manuela and Fernando have walk in the garden. They feel and hope, that their marriage will be finally successful from now on. When entered the main hall, Fernando and Manuela are welcomed by Emilio and he presents Anais to them. Manuela and Fernando looks surprised. Anais is kind, decent but her talk is somehow mysterious. Security chief Reboredo and police officer interrogate Leopoldo in detention. They want him to talk. Who is his complice and how did he made plan for the transit robbery. When it seems, that Leopoldo is broken, because he pronounces name of dr. Pintos, he clarifies, that he won't tell any word more before his advocate will be present during the interrogation. Aunt of Elisa helps to overcome Elisa's break up from Rudy. She suggests her to forget him. That's the only way. Fernando gives drink to Emilio and guys talk about Anais. Emilio has crush on Anais and he won't let Fernando to steal Anais to him. Emilio remebers, how he lost the game of Isabel. Fernando reminds Emilio, that he is husband of Manuela, but Emilio still gently warns him. Manuela returns the clothes from baggage. When Fernando enters the bedroom, Manuela asks, who is Anais and why is she accomodated in residence. Fernando tells her, that Anais is close friend of Emilio. Manuela feels, that Anais is some sort of danger for her. But Fernando assures Manuela, that Anais will mean no troubles to them. After a while, Manuela is convinced. Elisa and her aunt spend time in café. Elisa feels little bit better and she reads the newspaper. She finds advertisement about wood carving, which interests her. Mercedes makes her way into Salinas' residence, because of Manuela's phone call. Adelaida is surprised and suggests Mercedes to leave a message for Rafael. Mercedes doesn't want to, but finally she agrees. We meet new boy, Jean Carlo, owner of the wood carving. He surpassed detoxication and tells his friends about it. The talk is interrupted by Elisa, who wants to see the wood carving. Jean Carlo tells obvious fictions about the wood carving, so the other friends of Jean Carlo have fear, that Elisa will leave. But Elisa's reactions are surprisingly positive. She wants to buy the wood carving. Antonio has negotiation in Fernando's office, Mariana helps him with the documentation. Suddenly, Marcia appears and brings man, who delivers bill of some wardrobe, which was bought by Amanda. Antonio's task is to pay it. Antonio and Mariana feel ashamed. Luisa accomodated Mercedes, Manuela's mother, in dining room, where Mercedes talks to Manuela. Manuela looks beautiful and happy, what she actually is. When Anais goes by, Manuela introduces Anais to Mercedes. Mercedes doesn't know, what to think about Anais, but she keeps her mouth shut. Jean Carlo and his friends tells Elisa about their environmental activites. Elisa gives Jean Carlo the business card and tells him, that she will pay tomorrow, if he brings the wood carving with him. Friend of Jean Carlo makes inappropriate comment about leaving the issues and task for tomorrow, what Elisa suprisingly doesn't mind. When talking deatils of the bill, which Amanda made and Antonio has to pay it, it seems, that's tuxedo of Antonio. And he has no other option, than to pay. Manuela tells Mercedes, how badly she skies and when Manuela asks, what happened to Mercedes, visit comes. It is Art, who welcomes Manuela and with obvious passion, he welcomes Mercedes. Manuela leaves them alone and Art kisses Mercedes. Anais suprisingly knows, where some books in the library are located. Fernando is surprised, but Anais explains, that she was here on the masquerade ball. When Fernando asks Anais questions about her mysterious disappearance, Anais verbally teases Fernando, she enhances Fernando's curiosity. Mercedes retouches her make-up and Art makes compliments to her. Manuela feels, what's going on, smiles at Mercedes and after a while, Mercedes and Art excuse themselves and leave for obvious reasons. Rafael comes to see Mercedes and brought flowers for Adelaida, where he waits for Mercedes. When Rafael and Adelaida talk about past, about Corrado and about relationship between Adelaida and her cousin, Mercedes, it seems, that Adelaida secretly likes Rafael, but she wants to help Mercedes, so she can make couple with Rafael. The phone rings at Salinas' residence. Luisa wants to answer it, but Manuela is faster. When answering, the caller is mute. It is Bernarda, but Manuela doesn't know that yet.
