Google Looks Into the Index Now Protocol for Crawling and Indexing
Google indexing currently uses Googlebot — Google's web crawler. The company recently announced that they'd be trying out the IndexNow protocol.
They will put this new protocol to the test to see whether it fits into their sustainability efforts. Find out more about this change here.
