Hoyoverse's SHOCKING Change to Chronical WISH BANNER in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact fans, get ready for some BIG news! 🎉 With Version 5.3 dropping on January 1st, HoYoverse is shaking things up with a fresh twist on the banner system. 🚀 In today’s video, we’ll break down the exciting return of the Chronicle Prayers banner, how the revamped system works, and what this means for your Primogem strategy. Plus, we’ll reveal the second clue for Guess the Visionary Round 4 🕵️♂️, so stick around until the end to get all the details. Let’s dive in! 🌟
Version 5.3 introduces the Chronicle Prayers banner, a special event we haven’t seen since Version 4.5. Back then, the banner focused on Mondstadt characters and weapons, but this time, the spotlight shifts to Liyue 🏮. Fans of the Geo nation are in for a treat, with an incredible lineup of characters and weapons to pull for. 🥳
The banner includes beloved Liyue characters like Baizhu, Shenhe, Keqing, Ganyu, Xiao, Tartaglia, and even Qiqi. 🧙♀️✨ As for weapons, expect a selection of powerful gear to complement your teams. ⚔️ One of the biggest surprises is Shenhe’s inclusion, as earlier leaks suggested she wouldn’t be included. HoYoverse has clearly been listening to players, and this update reflects that! 💡👏
And here’s where things get REALLY interesting: 🤩 HoYoverse is making major changes to how these Chronicle banners work. 🚨 Starting with Version 5.3, restrictions on which characters can appear in Chronicle Prayers banners will be relaxed. This shift allows for more flexibility and variety, making these banners even more dynamic in the future. 🌈
How does the updated Chronicle Prayers banner work?
The mechanics are straightforward yet strategic:
✨ Players can choose to focus their pulls on either characters or weapons.
⚔️ If you select characters, non-guaranteed pulls will only yield characters. Similarly, if you focus on weapons, your non-guaranteed pulls will only yield weapons.
⭐ After 90 pulls, you’re guaranteed a 5-star. If it’s not your chosen focus, don’t worry—your next 90 pulls are guaranteed to feature your pick.
🔄 At most, it’ll take 180 pulls to secure your desired 5-star character or weapon.
Here’s the twist: 🌀 While pity counters carry over to future Chronicle banners, guarantees do not. This adds an extra layer of strategy when deciding how to allocate your Primogems. 💎
With such a strong lineup of fan-favorite Liyue characters, this banner is a must-consider for many players. 🎯 Whether you’re a fan of Shenhe’s elegance, Ganyu’s powerhouse abilities, or the swift strikes of another familiar figure, there’s something here for everyone. 💪🔥
Who do you think this could be? 🧐 Be sure to keep guessing, as the winner will walk away with a free Welkin Moon! 🌙🎁
