ASTAROTH - ARCHON OF TIME. Genshin Impact Lore and Theories
Astaroth is one of the Four Shadows of Faneth and the Archon of Time.
We first learn of her in Mondstadt, during the world quest "Time and Wind."
The Temple of a Thousand Winds, located near Mondstadt, belongs to her, and the description of a series of ceremonial weapons reveals that the inhabitants of Mondstadt worshiped not only Barbatos but also Astaroth.
Time and Wind are inextricably linked, for the wind bears the seeds of stories, and time nurtures them.
However, besides Mondstadt, Astaroth was also worshiped in Enkanomia. Furthermore, she is also mentioned in Inazuma itself, specifically in the second quest of the Raiden Legends.
