Design your own Zoom Virtual Background
Lots of us have found ZOOM to be indispensable over the last few weeks.
But what about your home office. Not everyone has a beautiful office or backdrop and some backgrounds don't necessarily give off a professional vibe.
But don't worry! with Zoom and Canva you can easily create a virtual background inside the free version of both.
I have made a video to help!
Simply ...
◉ open a free account with Canva.
◉ click new design
◉ search or select zoom virtual background
◉ select the one you like
◉ add a logo if you like (simply upload it to Canva and insert)
◉ save it somewhere you can find it.
Now go into Zoom...
◉ scroll to the bottom in the footer under "Support" find "Test Zoom" "Join Meeting Test" "allow"
◉ click "test computer audio" and the setting page will pop up.
◉ click virtual backgrounds. Click the "+"
◉ upload your Canva virtual background.
et voila ... you're done!
No need to worry if you can see that pile of washing you've been meaning to put away behind you!
If you don't find any background in Canva you like you can create your own or try:
Behr Paint who in response to COVID-19 created a library of virtual backgrounds entitled 'Behr Your Background" that can be used by individuals for video chats as they work from home during the pandemic. (see link in the 1st Comment)
