Quansheng UV-K5 - Si4732 AM/FM/SW/LW IC Mod + 999 ch 2Mbit 24M02 eeprom Mod + usb-c desk charger Mod
In this video I'm assembling 2x Si4732 -A10 all band AM/FM/SW/LW receiver IC Modification flex pcbs and fitting one to a Quansheng UV-K5 radio as well as carrying out the 999 channel mod by replacing the 24C64 eeprom with a 2Mbit 24M02 eeprom (read the old eeprom and wrote the configuration data to the new eeprom) - and lastly i stripped the mains powered desktop charger pcb of components and added a usb-c based 8.4v 2S charger board so the UV-K5 can be charged via usb in its desktop cradle charger...
