In this tutorial, I show you KreateFlo's Timeline Tools, a set of features for quickly rearranging, gapping, splitting, and shuffling clips on your timeline. Whether you're spacing out footage to insert motion graphics, breaking a clip into even segments, or randomizing clip order for a presentation or montage, this tool handles it in a few clicks.

This is part of our ongoing KreateFlo series. Catch up on the earlier tutorials covering Installation, Multicam Editing, Audio Editing, Pitch Correction, Single-Speaker Editing, Spotlight/Updates, Transitions, Auto Zoom, Auto Resize, Quick Insert, Clip Colorizer, Black Frames, and Scene Detector if you're just getting started.

What you'll learn:
1. How to add a consistent gap (e.g., 3 seconds) between multiple selected clips at once
2. How to remove all gaps in a single click
3. How to split a clip into even segments by choosing a duration (e.g., every 2 seconds)
4. How to preview how many segments a clip will split into before committing
5. How to shuffle clips into a random order
6. How to reverse clip order from back to front

This is a flexible tool, so don't feel limited to the examples shown here. It works well for presentations, montages, race or highlight reels, or any project where you need to rearrange a lot of footage quickly.
