The 1996 Strategy Game No One Could Play - Until Now (Wages of War)
This is one of my favorite strategy games of all time, and I've patiently waited for someone to do this. I've waited long enough.
Wages of War was foundational to my love of PC games and strategy/management games, and I believe it still has a lot to offer in 2026.
There's so much more I wanted to add; I chose to keep it brief for the sake of runtime. I'm still waiting for responses from the few New World Computing vets I could locate, but I'm not anybody and wouldn't be shocked if they never respond.
I love this game and just wanted to share it with you all.
