Where do writers find their inspiration? Andrey Gradov believes that a quiet spot with a fishing lake, far from civilization, is just right for him. On one condition: he doesn't have to rescue drowned women from the lake. And what if the "mermaid" is beautiful, mysterious, and remembers nothing? And you're cut off from the big world by incessant pouring rain and washed-out roads? Andrey doesn't have to search long for the answer. Like a true writer, he turns the rescued beauty into his muse.
But sooner or later, any vacation, like the rain, ends. And it's time to return to your own story, not one you've made up. And part of that story is your past. And also the secrets of your muse's past. Will Andrei be able to unravel these mysteries? Will there be room in his present for the enigmatic nymph? Will she find herself by his side?
