Removes wax, oil and foreign materials from most surfaces in one application. The presence of wax, oil or foreign materials can retard drying or cause defects in finishing topcoats. Prior to applying a new finish or repair, clean surface with Wax Wash™ remover. Ideal for furniture, appliances, woodwork and other surfaces.

Mohawk Wax Wash™ Remover is a combination of solvents that is used to remove wax, oil and foreign materials from most surfaces prior to applying a new finish, repairing a finished surface, or prior to polishing. It is sometimes necessary to remove old polish to avoid undo buildup. Wax Wash™ Remover is ideal for furniture, appliances, woodwork, and other finished surfaces.
Important:
Do not use near an open flame. For example, when working in a kitchen, the pilot lights on a stove must be turned off.
Step 1
Shake well.
Step 2
Holding the can 10 to12 inches away from the target area, spray Wax Wash™ Remover liberally on the area to be cleaned.
Step 3
Briskly wipe surface with a clean absorbent cloth, constantly revolving the cloth while wiping so that wax and oils will absorb into the cloth rather than be redistributed on the surface.
Step 4
Wipe off the residue with another clean, absorbent, dry cloth.
Step 5
Allow the surface to dry for a few minutes before proceeding with finishing, repairing, or polishing.
