Overpower is one of the three main damage-boosting mechanics in Diablo 4 along with Critical Strike and Vulnerability. All three of these mechanics give hefty multiplicative damage bonuses in different ways, but for a long time, Overpower also used to give some massive additive damage bonuses as well based on your character's maximum life and fortified life pools. As of Season 9, Overpower has been simplified, and now only gives the multiplicative damage bonus. All the same, this guide explains how that damage bonus works, how to trigger Overpower, and how you can make the most of the mechanic.
