What do children like to listen to or read? Fairy tales, of course! Fairy tales develop imagination and introduce children to a wonderful world with its own rules, laws, and relationships. By telling children fairy tales, we develop their inner world—it's been scientifically proven that children who were read fairy tales by their parents and grandparents early on develop earlier speech development, and their speech is more literate, with correct word endings. Fairy tales also teach how to communicate and behave. Fairy tales are the easiest way to explain good and evil, right and wrong, in accessible language. After all, children perceive the language of fairy tales much more easily than adult lectures.
