R knee partial meniscus resection menisectomy 12 22 22 KM
This is an arthroscopic surgery showing a partial meniscus resection. We typically only do this is someone has not gotten better with rest, medications, therapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) or bone marrow concentrate injections, toradol injection, shockwave, laser, or bracing. In general, there are a lot of things to try before surgery for this type of meniscal tear! We don't have to try them all...just the ones that make sense.....
