Add Custom Audio Folders - Final Cut Pro 10.3 Tutorial

One of the great new features added in the FCPX 10.2.3 update is the ability to add custom audio folders to the sound effects browser. This tutorial takes you through the steps necessary to do this. After adding your custom audio folder, all your music stored in that folder will be available to listen to and preview it in FCPX across all libraries and projects without having to import them every time. This works like the iTunes library in the audio browser. If you choose to use a song in one of your projects, that track will then be imported into the event the project is stored in. This is a great time saver if you have a folder with royalty free music or similar, you want to keep separate and use in FCPX without having to import every time.
