Meet the mimic hand M1: the first robotic hand purpose-built for industrial automation. Strong enough to hold a 25 kg payload, sensitive enough to feel a 50 g weight through motor current alone.
The M1 is designed AI-first: every feature exists to maximize the performance of learned manipulation policies in the real world. Its 15 actuated degrees of freedom (21 joints total) match the functional anatomy of the human hand, including abduction and a fully opposable thumb, so human demonstration data transfers directly onto the robot.
Highly backdrivable, tendon-driven, and routed entirely over bearings and pulleys, the M1 delivers ±0.18 mm fingertip accuracy, less than 0.1 N force resolution, less than 0.3° backlash, while surviving the collisions and duty cycles of real factory floors.
