With 'There Be Ghosts,' we set out to explore the despair, ambiguity, and terror experienced by those trapped in cycles of crime and opioid addiction. It was more about the theme than the plot. More about the vibe than the story. We shot it in Baltimore, Maryland, a city steeped in both paranormal folklore and devastating substance abuse. These two facets of the city's identity underscore the film’s central themes.
