Sugar and Salt is presenting a recipe for Iftar as we are about to welcome Ramadan 2021. The name of this Hyderabadi snack is Aaloo Bonday or simply we can call it Hyderabadi Potato Balls.
Ingredients:
A. For Making Mashed Potato:
1. Lightly Mashed Potatoes 4 cups
2. Chopped Onions 1/3 cup
3. Chopped Coriander 1/3 cup
4. Chopped Green Chillies 1/3 cup
5. Chopped Curry Leaves 1 - 1/2 Tbsp
6. Lemon Juice 2 - 1/2 Tbsp
7. Salt 2 Tsp
B. For Tarka:
1. Oil 1/4 Cup
2. Cumin 1/4 Tsp
3. Mustard Seeds 1/4 Tsp
4. Button Red Chillies in pieces 1- 1/2 Tbsp
C. For Gram Flour Mixture:
1. Gram Flour Or Besan 1- 1/2 Cup
2. Salt 1/2 Tsp
3. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
4. Turmeric 1/4 Tsp
5. Ginger & Garlic Paste 1 Tsp
