BEST FIGHTER SUBCLASS in Baldur's Gate 3 Tier List
With Patch 8 changing the meta, here is the BEST FIGHTER SUBCLASS in Baldur's Gate 3 ranked on a Tier List from best to worst. the Eldridge Knight received a major change in Patch 8 with the new cantrip Booming Blade, which lets them trigger their War Magic to get four attacks without having Haste or Action Surge set up. This is quite a monumental increase to their overall damage, and this class is already quite defensive getting the shield spell.
The arcane archer is a new subclass as well, offering their magic arrows with banishing arrow being a top contender for their best ability. Banishing a target for two turns is extremely effective. On top of this they also get some other fun arrows to use too.
The battlemaster stays a strong pick as always, featuring riposte and rally among their special attacks.
The champion has a hard time finding a place, as the extra critical hits and fighting styles are nice, but the battlemaster adds a 1d10 to their attacks and can always wearing critical boosting gear.
