Sequential numbering without gaps & reset annually in Airtable
In this video, I'll show you how to create a sequential numbering system for your invoices, quotes, customer numbers, and more using Airtable.
We'll create a custom sequential numbering system because the Autonumber field isn't suitable for this specific case.
If you delete a line and then recreate it, it creates a gap in the numbering, which is obviously unacceptable for invoice numbering, for example. Furthermore, it's often necessary to reset the numbering every year.
