Tatting Techniques: Video 0b - Threads
This video looks at the characteristics of suitable threads for beginners. The best ones from my experience are Perle 5 threads (eg DMC). They're thick, so you can see the stitches, and are smooth with a sheen, so they move easily - a crucial requirement. The size of the design can be reduced or increased, by varying the thickness of the thread.
