Whoa, it's been forever since I made a full video! Well...it's not actually a full video, but it's not just a part either. Okay, I take that back, it IS a part for the new studio I'm in (Pacific Eve Studios) and this is for our first project! Yay!
Yes, this is ANOTHER Dragon Age video. :) I just finished Dragon Age 2, so now I'm sort of going on a Dragon Age binge/rampage. ^_^ I wanted to make this epic, since our job was to make a 15-50 second video that shows our truest potential in video making. Since I love to make stories/trailers with my vids, the story for this one revolves around Flemeth's plan for her daughter Morrigan...and in case you've never played DA, Morrigan is the sexy dark haired woman who can change into a spider, shoot lightning from her hands, and blow up the heads of darkspawn (those...umm...ugly creatures that they were fighting). Of course, if you have played DA, then you know one of the back stories to the game is the little ritual that makes Flemeth ageless--taking over the bodies of her daughters to become young again. In order to do this more easily, that daughter must become more powerful... So, in DA: Origins, Morrigan was sent off with the Grey Warden and accompany him while he saves the land from the blight of the darkspawn, and with that, she does indeed become more powerful (which is why I tried to use as many of the Morrigan scenes as possible to show that, lol). Of course in the first game, you have the option of doing Morrigan's personal sidequest of killing Flemeth when she finds out her plan. But she doesn't go down easy since she makes an appearance in DA2... watch out, Morrigan! Mother's back!
Okay, so I had originally planned just to make this a super epic video with clips from DA: Origins and DA2. But I really wanted to use as much of the Sacred Ashes video as I could because I felt it would be a waste otherwise, which means there was no room left for DA2 (so sad). Anyways, I hope I did it justice. :)
