You don’t get to meet an animal translator every day. That’s because there are very few of them. In fact, Tan Chuxin is an animal translator at Huawei – one of the few successful candidates out of 700 who applied for the job.
Every day, she listens to, identifies and records sounds from the rainforest. Technology helps to make Chuxin’s job a little easier. Solar sound sensors, made out of hold Huawei phones, are placed in the rainforest. The sounds captured by the sensors are then transmitted to Chuxin via Huawei Cloud’s AI technology.
It is Chuxin’s dream to protect the environment, and she’s living her dream at Huawei. Watch this WhoAreWe video to learn more.
