This lecture gives an overview of the most important aspects and concepts of Khronos' low-level graphics API. The following topics are discussed: the swap chain, physical device selection, image layout transitions, memory management, commands, queues, pipeline stages, and there is a big part about synchronization, including execution dependencies, memory dependencies, and synchronization primitives: fences, semaphores, events, pipeline barriers, subpass dependencies.
