Alpha and Delta moped engines are equipped with a fine oil filter. This is a centrifugal fine oil filter; it works like a centrifuge, sifting out heavy particles from the oil and scattering them against the walls. These particles accumulate in special pockets in the centrifuge and occasionally need to be cleaned out.
