Volvo Truck Hood Release Cable | Product Overview | OTR Performance
The hood release cable commonly breaks apart due to rust, or gets tough to pull. The hood cable is routed from the engine bay through the inside compartment of the truck. You can check it's operation by pulling the lever and watching the hood latch release mechanism. If you can't open up your hood, then a broken cable can be the problem.
