If you've seen The Lion Guard, you've probably wondered: why isn't Kion in The Lion King 2? While we see Kiara, his older sister, as the future queen of the Pride Lands, Kion, the fierce leader of the Lion Guard and one of the most powerful lions of his generation, is nowhere to be seen. Was he simply an afterthought created by the writers? Or was he on a journey that kept him away from the Pride Lands during Zira's attacks in The Lion King 2?
