Installing Arch Linux & Hyprland. My Development Workflow Part 1
This is the first video in a series in which I demonstrate my workflow for developing and managing dotfiles.
👉 In this video, I show you how to easily install Hyprland on Arch Linux.
👉 In the second video, we will develop a basic rice for Hyprland together.
👉 In the third video, we will create a GitHub repository for our dotfiles.
👉 In the fourth video, we will expand our dotfiles with additional features and develop them using the Dotfiles Installer app.
👉 And in the fifth video, we will then publish our dotfiles on GitHub and make them available to other users using the Dotfiles Installer.
1.) Download Arch Linux: https://archlinux.org/download/
2.) Boot the ISO in Virtual Machine or your PC and start the installation with the command archinstall
3.) Select the profile Hyprland to install a basic Hyprland configuration.
4.) Install the editor code with sudo pacman -S code
5.) You can find the Hyprland configuration in the folder $HOME/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf
