How do you translate a video, stream, movie or game live on a Windows PC? Voxis listens to the sound your computer plays and gives it back in your language — as a spoken translation and as captions, while it plays.
This tutorial walks through your first translation in Video & Game mode, step by step: sign in, pick the language you hear, press Start, set the volumes and the on-screen captions, then save and export the transcript.
What you need:
• A Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC
• Voxis from the Microsoft Store
• A Voxis account (free to create)
• Something that plays sound: a video, a stream, a movie or a game
• No driver and no virtual cable — headphones are nice, but speakers also work in this mode

Quick answers:
• Do I need a driver or a virtual cable? No. Video & Game mode listens to your computer's own sound; nothing else to install. (Only Meeting mode needs a virtual microphone.)
• Which languages? You pick the language you want to hear from 79. You never pick the spoken language — Voxis detects it.
• Can I still hear the original? Yes. The original is turned down while the translation speaks (30% by default) and comes back up afterwards. "Original audio (while speaking)" sets how far it drops: 0 mutes it, 100 leaves it untouched.
• Does it work with games? Yes — with any app that plays sound: a browser, a video player, a stream or a game. Turn on "On-screen text" to keep the captions on top of a full-screen video or game.
• Does Voxis translate itself? No. Its own voice is left out of what it listens to.
• How long is the delay? A few seconds — Voxis interprets simultaneously, and the caption appears before the voice.
• Is there a free plan? Yes. A new account starts with a one-time Pro taste, then continues on a free plan with a local voice and some free minutes every day. Meeting mode and the natural voice are on paid plans.
