This novel tells the story of a spaceship pilot who gets damaged in battle, due to which he crashes on a desolate and lonely planet. The suit shows him that there is only enough oxygen for more than five hours, but fortunately, 15 kilometers away there is an automatic shelter in which you can breathe, and eat, and calmly wait for salvation. But it turns out that the automatics of the shelter are badly damaged, so the only robot that seems to be intended to help decides to kill the main character.
