Tufting a CUSTOM PlayStation Rug
Today I hand tufted a PlayStation Logo rug with my AK-1 Cut Pile Tufting Gun!!! Gotta love a day spent with the rug machine.
This retro PlayStation logo first came into my life when my brother got a PS2 many years ago. Ever since then I've loved its design. FINALLY, I own it in a tangible form, and amazingly, rug form!!!
Materials and equipment:
AK-1 Cut Pile Tufting Gun
A custom built tufting frame (here's a video I made on how to build one: • DIY Tufting Frame )
Monks Cloth primary fabric (I often will also use the cheaper option of Jute Burlap)
7oz Acrylic yarn (I use two strands at once)
General Purpose Flooring Adhesive
Spray Adhesive (heavy-duty)
cotton fabric as my secondary fabric (the backing)
