On Friday, March 3, 2022, the D20PCP Adult and Community Education (ACE) Center, a CCSD ESSER III initiative to support student and family academics, hosted its first Shark Tank as a culmination of its Entrepreneurship Course. The Entrepreneurship course was a 3-part-6 week-program

Part 1- Direct Instruction: The fundamentals of establishing and running a business.

Part 2- Practicum: Students applied, analyzed, and created business plans. Local business owners were invited as guest speakers to discuss their personal business techniques, product development, successes/ failures, etc.

Part 3- Private consultation and feedback in preparation for the Shark Tank where students were given the opportunity to present their business plans, pitches, products, and brands to experienced business professionals (judges). Judges provided feedback and evaluation to further help students operate and improve their current/future businesses and presentation.

The winner of the Shark Tank received a donation to support business establishment and endeavors.

The efforts and success of this program are the results of the time and efforts of many.
