The All New Maruti Suzuki Baleno is expected to be launched sometime in 2022. Under the hood, the new Baleno is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine from the outgoing model that produces 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. The five-speed manual unit and the CVT unit are likely to be carried over too. The changes could be introduced in the form of a redesigned front fascia, redone bumpers, and new head, fog, and tail lights. It could also get a new design for the alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin could be revamped with a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and repositioned centre aircon vents, and a new steering wheel.
Since the Baleno will undergo a major update, the prices are expected to rise by Rs 30,000 to Rs 70,000 over the outgoing model.
