Juvenile Queen Angelfish being drip acclimated - future pairing project
These two juvenile Queen Angelfish, Holocanthus ciliaris, were sent to me by Kara & Philipp of KP Aquatics, the 2nd generation family business of Ken Nedimyer, SealifeInc dot net. I asked for a size difference in the hopes of putting these two fish through the pairing setup I've used with my first Rock Beauty pair. For now, they go into QT next to each other...if all goes well later on they'll be introduced. So far, the initial interactions in the bucket during acclimation were "tame" compared to what I've seen in other angelfish (i.e. Centropyge bicolor), so that is promising.
