Two Iveco Dailys came to us for diesel particulate filter (DPF) removal, EGR valve removal (disabling), and a power boost (chip tuning) of +30 hp.
One car was manufactured in 2017 and meets the Euro-5 emission standard.
The other car was manufactured in 2014 and meets the Euro-4 emission standard.
The difference is that the Euro-5 has a DPF installed, while the Euro-4 does not. Otherwise, everything is the same.
The owner of the Euro-5 car decided to remove the DPF, disable/plug the EGR valve, and increase engine power by +30 hp. However, he decided not to remove the catalytic converter.
The owner of the Euro-4 car, on the other hand, decided to remove the catalytic converters (there were two of them), disable/plug the EGR valve, and increase engine power by +30 hp.
