How to change Authoring mode in AEM.
AEM Tutorial: How to change Authoring mode in AEM? :In this video we will see how author can switch/move from touch Ui authoring view to classic authoring view and viceversa.
Go to the user, click on user preferences, there you can see by default authoring mode is selected as touch optimized UI, author can change this mode to classic UI.
This way if author will open the page, it will always open in the classic authoring mode instead of touch authoring mode.
Other way of changing mode is by using the link, in the link author can replace the editor.html with cf# to open the page in classic authoring mode and vice versa for classic to touch authoring mode.
TOuch authoring mode is recommended. Author still loves to use sidekick, but touch ui has side rail in place of sidekick.
