In this CodeIgniter tutorial, you will learn how to create a registration form in Codeigniter framework. We used bootstrap framework for our UI interface. You have to follow the steps I have written for this project which is given below.
1) First, we will download Codeigniter and configure.
2) Create a users table in the database which has the following fields.
id,name,email,password,phone,created_at,updated_at
3) Create an Auth controller to show registration form.
4) In the Auth controller, we will create a register function which will show a register page.
5) Now create a register.php view in the views folder and integrate bootstrap CSS and js. Now please see how I will create a registration form in the video.
6) Now we will create a model called Auth_model.php in models folder and will create a "create" function in this model. This create function will save a user record in DB.
7) Now in Auth controller, we will modify "register" function, we apply validation and save user info in the database.
Congratulations!! You have successfully completed the registration form.
