So this dustbin gives you water as a reward or credits the balance in your metro card, friends, this project can be a great solution for Global Waste Management, let's see what is its working.
Here in this project there are two buckets, here on the right side bucket we have the complete assembly, in which electronics are connected some components and this bucket is filled with water below it, the bucket on the left side has a pipe above it and Sensor is connected on it, here whenever a bottle or garbage is poured, it is written on the LCD "Please Select Reward Mode", here through two buttons we can select the reward in water or RFID tag. Here on pressing the first button, the glass gets filled with water and again when we put garbage in it, again the message of Please Select Reward Mode comes, so from here we will take credit in the metro card, then by pressing this button, the card will be deposited. On scanning, a credit of ₹ 2 is added to the metro card, we can also check the balance in the metro card by scanning the card.
Now let us see what components have been installed in this project and how its electronics work, the pipe installed here has two IR Sensors connected to it, as soon as garbage is dumped here, then the IR Sensor bottle or the garbage. Here two sensors have been installed so that if there is a False Trigger for some reason, they can be nullified through both the sensors, the signal of these sensors goes to the Arduino, here we have used Arduino Nano,
There is a 16x2 LCD connected nearby, and an RFID reader module is connected nearby, also friends here is a pump connected whose inlet pipe is placed inside the bucket and the outlet pipe we have mounted on the glass, here when When the signal from the sensor goes to the Arduino, the Arduino detects that signal and gives us two options, which we can select through the button, on pressing one button, we can take the reward as water and on pressing the second button. We can credit the amount in the metro card, here if the reward is taken in the form of water, then this pump remains on for some time, and then it turns off, here we reduce the timing of the pump and increase the water. can set the amount of
