Bedminster Railway station showing the up direction (going towards Bristol Temple Meads) platform. You can see where the length has been extended with resurfacing work. Ready for the station to be used during the temporary closure of Bristol Temple Meads during engineering work.
This platform can be used by trains on both the Up Main line, or the Up Relief line (far side of the platform). The Up Main line is bidirectional at this point, so down direction trains can also use this platform.
You can also see the old overgrown path that leads to the blocked up exit at the Bristol Temple Meads end of the station.
