Morning Prayer MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 | Saint Matthew help me recognize the voice of Jesus
Morning Prayer | September 21 | Saint Matthew, Help Me Recognize the Voice of Jesus
🙏❤️Friends of A Heart in Prayer, good morning, peace and goodness. 🙏❤️
On this Monday, September 21st, we begin a new week together with Saint Matthew, apostle and evangelist.
Today's Gospel takes us to the decisive moment of his life. Jesus meets Matthew and speaks to him a word capable of changing everything: "Follow me."
This morning, we want to let that same Word reach us too.
Perhaps the Lord is showing us something through a choice we must make, a person we must listen to, a gesture we keep putting off, or an opportunity for goodness we risk failing to recognize.
Saint Matthew reminds us that faith is not merely words: it enters into our daily lives and can change our way of choosing, of meeting others, and of living what has been entrusted to us.
🙏 During this prayer, we entrust to the Lord the new week, our families, our work, our responsibilities, and all the intentions we hold dear.
We ask Saint Matthew to accompany us and help us recognize the voice of Jesus amidst the many voices that fill our days.
